Amara collaborated with Moonj early this year to bring a shared vision of functional art to a global audience. Combining Amara’s understanding of global markets and brand building with Moonj’s design-led approach and deep engagement with Indian craft, the collaboration creates contemporary objects that are made to be used, lived with and appreciated for their materiality, character and intent.

The handmade nature of each object is an integral part of its character. Variation and imperfection are not flaws to be corrected, but signatures of the hand — markers of individuality that give each piece a sense of presence and value over time.
